InspiraMath was founded by Dr. Melissa Gallagher. After more than 2 decades of teaching math to kids, teachers, and future teachers, Melissa became a mom. She founded InspiraMath to share research on how children learn and the best ways to teach math at home. 

Parents are kids' first math teachers. By better understanding how mathematical thinking develops and how to inspire deep math thinking, parents can set their kids up for success in math. They may even find their own math inspiration along the way!
